Purely Japanese style inn furnished with old folk goods used in a Japanese era, Meiji period. We offer Kaiseki meals, Tatami matted guest rooms and Japanese style feather beds. Hotel is close to many historic buildings ( shrines and temples ). Guests can also look around sake breweries. In every year, a festival called Takigi Noh ( a traditional play put on outdoors with light supplied by bonfires ) is held in June and Earth Celebration festival, a performance of Japanese drum by Kodo ( one of the most famous Taiko groups in the world ) is held in mid August. Come and experience the rich nature and cultures of both Japan and Sado. We are looking forward to seeing you.

Location / Directions

2 hr 30 min by car ferry or 1 hr by jetfoil from Niigata port Bandai terminal operated by Sado Kisen. After arriving at Sado Kisen Ryotsu port, take Minamisen line route bus and get off at Manoshinmachi bus stop ( 30 - 40 min ride ).
