Kyukamura Azumayama-Lodge

Mt.Azumayama located in the northern part of Hiroshima Prefecture where is deep into Chugoku Mountains, including Mount Hibano ( famous mountain with ancient myth ) and mountains over 1200 meter elevation are surrounded. Kyukamura is located at a height of 1000 meters and you can enjoy a fantastic view of beech forest and gentle grassland. At here, a lot of flowering grasses grow from spring to autumn.

Location / Directions

By JR line and Express Bus ( approximately 1 hour ): From Bingo-Shobara station on JR Geibi line walk 5 min to Shobara bus center. Ride on Bihoku Kotsu route bus bound for Shimotakanoyama and get off at Moriwaki bus stop. From Moriwaki bus stop take Kyukamura courtesy bus to our hotel ( Bihoku Traffic Company : +81-824-72-2122 ) ( About courtesy bus : reservations required by previous day ) / By car: 50 min drive from Shobara I.C. on Chugoku Expressway. From Shobara I.C. on Chugoku Expressway drive on Route 183 toward Shobara city center and drive into Route 432 after 1km. Keep driving toward the north to Hiwa-cho.
