By Car: [1] 22 km from Komoro I.C. on Joshin-Etsu Expressway via Asama Sunline Road and Prefectural Highway Route No.94 [2] 28 km from Ueda-Sugadaira I.C. on Joshin-Etsu Expressway via Route 144. During a winter season ( from November through April ) snow chain or winter tires are necessary / 60 min by courtesy bus from JR Ueda station.
