This inn is surrounded on all four sides by mountains and sits beside a gentle stream. Our hot spring bath uses water with a natural source of radium, which is good for the health and for beauty. We also recommend taking a walk in our 9900 square metre Japanese garden, which comes to life with cherry blossoms in spring and red foliage in autumn. Our main building was worked on by the famous architect Tatsuno Kingo. This valuable building conceals an excellent, classical style of Japanese architecture, and has been designated as one of Japan's Tangible Cultural Properties. We serve Japanese kaiseki ryori, specially prepared to bring out the flavours of the carefully selected seasonal ingredients. As well as delicious tastes and aromas, we pay particular attention to our choice of tableware to ensure that our food is also a feast for the eyes. This traditional eating culture is the equal of any in the world. Beginning with our Japanese food, the flower arrangements, ceramics, lacquerware, hanging scrolls, Japanese garden and Japanese guest rooms of this hotel all give guests an opportunity to experience firsthand the unique traditional culture of Japan.
