5 minutes by car from Hakuba station / Roughly 90 minutes from Tokyo to Nagano on the Nagano bullet train Asama and roughly 60 minutes on the super express bus from Nagano to Hakuba / Roughly 3 hours and 30 minutes from Shinjuku on the JR express Super Azusa / Roughly 2 hours from Nagoya to Matsumoto on the JR express Shinano and roughly 1 hour and 25 minutes after changing to the Oito line at Matsumoto.
